This post offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for a self-motivated enthusiastic individual to join the Public Health Team within the Place portfolio of Sheffield City Council.  Place Public Health is responsible for leading the public health agenda with a particular focus on tobacco control, food and obesity. The post holder will provide support to the Team on the delivery of the Tobacco Control and Food and Wellbeing Strategies.

This will involve supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of health improvement initiatives and policy; supporting the commissioning and monitoring of services; and working in partnership with public sector and voluntary sector organisations to support their engagement in these agendas.

You will have a qualification in public health or related area and/or experience in supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of health related projects and interventions.
